  • Mrs. Heather was born in Georgia to an American father and a British mother. As a child, she traveled a great deal, as her father was an airplane mechanic for T.W.A. When she was a little girl, she lived with her parents and older brother in Italy. Little knowledge to her when she grew up, she had attended a Montessori school where they lived. Throughout her childhood she lived in Greece and Turkey as well, and did not return to the United States until she was eleven years old. She moved to Arizona in 1993, and spent a year in Tucson, and then moved into the valley in 1994. She has lived here ever since, attending and finishing her Bachelors degree at Arizona State University in Mixed Media Arts. She is excited to begin working at San Tan Montessori School.

  • Mrs. Michelle has more than 14 years experience teaching music, including courses for Music Together, Preschool Music Together, High School Vocal Music, Show Choir, Guitar, Electronic Music, and private voice and piano lessons. She has also done K-8 summer musicals, taught aerobic classes, and performed vocally for weddings and at resorts. After the birth of her son, Tyler, Michelle got involved in a Music Together class and was so impressed with the program that she decided to teach. She received her training through the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ in June of 2005. Michelle teaches both Parent/Child Classes and Music Together Licensed Preschool. "Being a mother has opened my eyes to an entirely new world of music. Music Together has helped me to explore music as it relates to children, even from birth. What a great opportunity for young children to develop and grow!"
